Alum Ford Campground is on a first come, first served arrangement and no reservations are taken. Reservations for the Bear Creek and Station Camp Horse Camps may be made by calling (423) 569-3321. This was our first time camping with our horses and really didn't know what to expect. Some of my family had been there and rode the trails, so we knew the trails were nice. You cannot have your horses at the campsite.

ALL food, food items (mustard, ketchup, etc), coolers (even if they are empty or have ice, water, pop, etc), Bandy Creek was great! We tent camped and the sites were very well maintained and the bathrooms were spotless. The campground was busy but everyone was very respectful. Plenty of space around the fire and it did not feel cramped with our 2 large dogs.

Bandy Creek Campground is one of, if not the, nicest campground I’ve stayed in. The majority of the sites are shaded with plenty of room, nice picnic tables, bear safe food storage vaults, and fire pits. Plenty of garbage bins are close by so you don’t have to drag your trash around wondering where to put it.
